In 1979, 45 years after Carl Bolch Sr. opened his first independent gasoline station in St. Louis, Missouri, the RaceTrac Petroleum brand was born. Today the Atlanta-based company operates over 350 convenience stores and gasoline stations in under the RaceTrac and RaceWay banners.
