Ian Vagle

Ian Vagle has a strong background in corporate safety and risk management, with experience in various leadership roles. Ian is currently serving as the Corporate Safety and Risk Director at Rachel Contracting, a position they have held since May 2022. Prior to this role, Ian was the Corporate Safety Director/Pit Manager at Rachel Contracting from February 2018 to May 2022.

Before joining Rachel Contracting, Ian worked as the Safety and Environmental Director at Ramsey Companies / Minneapolis Concrete Recyclers (MCR) from March 2017 to February 2018.

Ian also has a significant amount of experience in landfill operations, having served as the President of Landfill Operations at VONCO from 2014 to 2017, and as the Vice President of Landfill Operations at VONCO from 2010 to 2014.

Earlier in their career, Ian worked as the Safety & Regulatory Compliance Director at Veit & Company, Inc from 2004 to 2010.

Ian Vagle completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Environmental Studies from Saint Cloud State University from 1999 to 2002. Ian then pursued a Master's degree in Environmental Health and Safety from the University of Minnesota Duluth from 2003 to 2004.
