Ian Schacht 肖易安

Ian Schacht 肖易安 has a diverse work experience in the fields of laboratory operations, development, and analysis. In 2021, they began working as the Director of Laboratory Operations at Ractigen Therapeutics. In 2020, they became the Co-Founder & Lead Developer at Aeira. In 2018, they incorporated Labtek Inc in Pleasanton, California as an international chemical development outsourcing firm, managing the company operations out of Shanghai, China. In 2016, they worked as the Laboratory Manager at ARS International, LLC, directly managing the daily operations of an analytical testing laboratory in Anchorage, Alaska. Ian also worked as a Technical Consultant, leading the initial laboratory setup for a licensed Marijuana testing laboratory in Anchorage. In 2014, they worked as a Graduate Researcher and TA at the University of Alaska Anchorage, leading the development of an analytical method to qualify the traditional Chinese medicine Rhodiola rosea. In 2015, they worked as a Lead Chemical Analyst III at TestAmerica Anchorage, managing the semi-volatiles and volatiles laboratory. In 2013, they worked as an ASET Researcher at the ASET laboratory at UAA. Finally, in 2010, they worked as a Chemistry Student Worker at Luther College, working with senior staff to maintain inventory and purchase materials.
