Vice President Europe at Rad Power Bikes

Arno Saladin has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Arno currently serves as the Vice President Europe at Rad Power Bikes, a consumer direct electric bike company, where they previously held the positions of Director Rad Power Bikes Europe & Global Strategic Partnerships and European Business Director. At Rad Power Bikes, they were responsible for managing operations, sales, and strategic partnerships in Europe.

Before joining Rad Power Bikes, Arno worked at Zonnebloem, the largest Dutch tour operator for people with disabilities. Arno served as the Deputy Managing Director/Adjunct directeur and later as the Manager of Marketing, Sales, and Communications/Afdelingshoofd Marketing, Communicatie, Fondsenwerving. In these roles, they oversaw marketing, sales, and communication strategies, as well as managing a team of volunteers.

Arno also has experience in the lubricants and automotive industries. Arno was the Owner and Director of LowVeld B.V., a European supplier of custom formulated lubricants, and worked at Yamaha Motor Europe N.V. as the Division Manager Powered Vehicles. Additionally, they worked at TNO Automotive as a Sales Engineer and later as a Project Leader for Vehicle Crash Safety, where they focused on crash test dummy research and development.

Earlier in their career, Arno worked at Lotus Engineering as a Chassis Engineer, where they contributed to projects involving chassis reinforcement and flywheel redesign. Arno also worked as an Engineer at General Electric Plastics Europe, where they were involved in designing the 'Swatch' car, which later became the Smart Automobile. Arno began their career as a Software Engineer at AUDI AG, where they developed R&D planning software.

Throughout their career, Arno Saladin has gained a deep understanding of various industries, demonstrating their versatility in management, sales, marketing, engineering, and research and development.

Arno Saladin has a diverse education history. In 1988, they enrolled at HTS Autotechniek, where they pursued their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Automotive Engineering. Arno completed this program in 1992. Following this, in 1996, Arno Saladin attended NIMA, studying Marketing for a year. Later, in 2010, they joined Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) and focused on Philanthropic Studies for a year.
