Guido de la Roij

Guido de La Roij is a current PhD candidate at Radboudumc, beginning in February 2022, with prior experience as an internship trainee at the same institution focusing on the correlation between pro-inflammatory diets, peripheral inflammation, and brain changes from November 2020 to May 2021. Previously, Guido completed an internship at the Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behaviour from February to November 2020, which involved research on permanent genetic access to transiently active neurons through Targeted Recombination in Active Populations. Prior to these roles, Guido served as a Research and Development Project Manager at PowerCem Technologies B.V. from 2009 to 2016. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences from Radboud University (2019 - 2021) and a Bachelor's degree from Wageningen University & Research (2016 - 2019).
