Manoe Janssen

Manoe Janssen is a Senior Scientist at Radboudumc since March 2024, previously serving as an Assistant Professor at Utrecht University from July 2015 to February 2024, focusing on advanced in vitro models to investigate genetic kidney disease and renal toxicity. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Research role at Radboudumc in early 2015, studying molecular mechanisms of kidney disease and Cystinosis, and a Postdoctoral Research position at KU Leuven from January 2013 to December 2014, examining epigenetic modifications in mouse embryonic stem cells. As a PhD student at Radboudumc from 2008 to 2012, research centered on autosomal dominant polycystic liver disease. Mano Janssen also participated as a Junior Investigator at the European Association for the Study of the Liver from 2009 to 2012. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Molecular Mechanisms of Disease (2006-2008) and a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Life Sciences (2003-2006) from Radboud University.
