Marije Koenders

Marije Koenders is an assistant professor and senior scientist at Radboudumc, where responsibilities include leading a research team focused on cytokine targeting and immunomodulation in arthritis. Since January 2007, Marije has been involved in research aimed at reducing the immune response to alleviate synovial inflammation and protect cartilage and bone from damage. In addition, Marije serves as a postdoctoral researcher in Autoimmune Diseases & Therapeutic Approaches and holds editorial board positions with Scientifica and F1000. Previously, Marije worked as a program leader for animal models and cytokines at Novirun BV and has an extensive educational background with a Master of Science in Biomedical Health Sciences from Radboud University.
