Milou Arts-Tenhagen is currently a Digital Health Innovator at Radboudumc since January 2023. Previously, Milou held various positions at Zilveren Kruis from October 2016 to December 2022, including Product Owner for pharmacy and Senior Data Analyst, involved in developing visions, policies, and procurement strategies. Milou's career began at UMC Utrecht from January 2012 to July 2016, where a PhD focused on breast cancer progression cues resulted in a thesis concerning the genome-wide effects of lost cell-cell adhesion in metastatic breast cancer. Additional research experience includes a Master internship at UCSF studying cytokines in T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia and a major research project at the Hubrecht Institute analyzing gene expression in intestinal and pre-cancer colorectal stem cells. Milou holds a PhD from Utrecht University (2016), a Master of Science in Cancer Genomics and Developmental Biology (2011), and a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences (2009). Early education includes attendance at Carmel College Salland from 2000 to 2006.
