Tom van Oorschot

Tom van Oorschot is a Senior Research Technician at Radboudumc since May 2013, with a solid background in biochemistry. Previous experiences include a graduation internship at UMC St. Radboud focused on nuclear deformability and cancer cell invasion, and a minor in Industrial Microbiology at HAN Biocentre which involved culturing yeast cells for biodiesel production. Tom has also conducted research internships involving phagocytosis assays and genetic mapping of Old Dutch grous breeds, along with testing media for Chinese Hamster Ovary cell lines at Hycult Biotech. Tom holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Biochemistry from HAN University of Applied Sciences and has pursued education at ROC de Leijgraaf Oss and Udens College.
