John Shifflett

John Shifflett is an accomplished professional in the field of athletic training and sports medicine with extensive experience in managing insurance policies and claims for student-athletes at Radford University since January 2012. Previously, John served as an Associate Athletic Trainer for the Men's Soccer and Baseball teams and contributed to concussion research as an Adjunct Research Faculty member at the Virginia Tech-Wake Forest Center for Injury Biomechanics. With a strong background in athletic training acquired through roles such as Assistant Athletic Trainer at Virginia Tech and Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer, John has also gained experience as a summer intern with both the Philadelphia Eagles and Indianapolis Colts. John holds a Master’s of Education in Health Promotion from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Averett University.
