Radformation
Aimee McNamara is a Senior Applied Scientist at Radformation since February 2024, previously serving as an Instructor at Massachusetts General Hospital from April 2018 to February 2024 and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard Medical School from May 2014 to February 2024. Aimee developed the Monte Carlo platform TOPAS-nBio, aimed at enhancing the understanding of radiation physics, chemistry, and biology at cellular levels. Aimee's earlier experience includes a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Sydney, where a novel flat panel prototype detector for MV x-ray radiation therapy was developed, and a Research Fellowship at ANSTO, focused on computational modeling across various domains including nanodosimetry and detector technology. Aimee holds a Ph.D. in Theoretical Astrophysics from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Mathematics and Physics from the University of the Witwatersrand.
