Dmitry Averbukh

Director of R&D at Radiaction

Dmitry Averbukh's work experience begins in 2008 with a student job as a QC Engineer at IAI - Systems Missiles and Space Group. Dmitry was responsible for quality control management, subcontractor management, and operating coordinate measuring machines.

In 2009, Dmitry joined Mechano-Deen LTD. as a Manufacturing Engineer. Their role involved transferring designs to production, with a focus on precise and high accuracy machining of metals for aerospace, defense, and commercial markets.

From 2011 to 2014, Dmitry worked as an R&D Mechanical Engineer at Studio Shai Barkan, an Industrial Design Office specializing in military projects. Dmitry was responsible for detailed design of innovative systems for military and homeland security, as well as design for manufacturing.

In 2014, Dmitry joined InoMec LTD. as a Project Manager and R&D Engineer. Dmitry managed multidisciplinary projects from the idea phase to the released product, providing research and development services for medical devices.

Currently, Dmitry is working at Radiaction Ltd., starting in 2017. Dmitry began as a Research and Development Engineer, leading and mentoring the R&D Mechanical team. In 2021, they transitioned to the role of Mechanical Team Leader, and starting in October 2022, they will be serving as the Director of R&D. Radiaction Ltd. is involved in developing a novel robotic radiation shield to reduce scattered radiation exposure for physicians and medical staff in cath labs.

Dmitry Averbukh completed their BSc in Engineering from Tel Aviv University, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management, General at Reichman University, commencing in 2021 and expected to graduate in 2023.
