Performance Engineer II at Radian Generation

Jacob Armstrong has a long history of work experience in the engineering and technical support field. Jacob began their career in 2005 as a Lead Test Technician at Comtech EF Data. In 2009, they took on an Intern role at TUV Rheinland PTL. From 2011 to 2019, Armstrong worked for First Solar as an Engineer II, PV Power Plant Performance, an Engineer, Field Performance, and a Performance Tech. II. Most recently, they have been employed at TMEIC since 2019 as a Customer Support Engineer. In this role, they provide technical support for end users of utility-scale PV inverters and has produced monthly reports for management to track warranty costs and summary of active claims. Additionally, they developed a visual utility using Google Earth to easily display site locations and project details for TMEIC's fleet of PV inverters in North America. In 2021, Armstrong began working as a Performance Engineer II at Radian Generation.

Jacob Armstrong attended Mesa Community College from 1997 to 2003, and then Arizona State University from 2004 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
