Anne Backe

Anne Backe has extensive experience in mental health care, currently serving as the Hennepin ACT Team Manager/Team Lead and Health Project Coordinator at RADIAS Health since November 2016. In this role, Anne provides comprehensive mental health services, including therapy, independent living skills (ILS), education, group therapy, trauma work, and substance abuse treatment for Anoka ACT Team clients. Additionally, since March 2014, Anne has worked as a Psychiatric Associate at the University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview, where responsibilities include conducting diagnostic assessments and leading cognitive behavioral therapy group sessions for adults with mental illness and chemical dependency. Previous roles include a Psychological Associate at Bethesda Health Care and a Student Researcher at the College of St. Benedict/St. John's University, where Anne focused on research related to students' beliefs about knowledge and learning. Anne holds a Master of Arts in Counseling and Psychological Services from St. Mary's University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Communication from the College of Saint Benedict.
