Fabiana Morais

Fabiana Morais is a Brazilian engineer who currently works as an R&D Engineer at Radiation Imaging Technologies. Fabiana has a background in software development and biomedical engineering, and has worked at both start-ups and private hospitals.

Fabiana Morais started their career as a software developer at ALERT Life Sciences Computing in December 2018. Fabiana worked there for just over a year before moving to Radiation Imaging Technologies (RI-TE) in November 2016. At RI-TE, they worked as a software developer and biomedical engineer for two years before moving to their current position.

Fabiana Morais has a passion for developing new technologies that can improve the lives of people with medical conditions. In their free time, they enjoy spending time with their family and friends, and travelling to new places.

Fabiana Morais has an Integrated Master's in Biomedical Engineering from FCTUC - Faculty of Sciences and Techonology of Coimbra University. Fabiana also has a Web Programmer certification from Galileu. For their Master thesis, they researched automatic hepatic resection for living donor transplant at Hospital of Coimbra University and the Group of Electronics and Instrumentation. Fabiana also did a European student exchange pogramme: Erasmus at Politecnico de Milano.
