Kamala Krishnan

Kamala Krishnan has worked as an AI/ML Engineer at RadicalX since May 2023. In this role, they have been responsible for developing Large Language Models (LLM) using Python and the OpenAI API for chatbots and virtual assistants. Additionally, they have assisted in AI model design and data analysis for machine learning, utilizing technologies such as OpenAI, TensorFlow, Botpress, and Inworld.

Prior to their current position, Kamala worked at TTEC from December 2019 to May 2022. Initially, they were a Software Engineer Trainee, where they developed a proof-of-concept for an end-to-end hospital management application using Pega and Java. Kamala also designed and implemented a web chat bot for internal projects at TTEC.

Later, they became a Software Engineer at TTEC and contributed to the development of a customer service tool using Amazon Transcribe and Amazon Comprehend. Their work optimized customer interactions and service quality, and they also enhanced resilience and user-focused design for MunichRE's insurance application. In addition, they investigated errors in the existing pipeline and documented the codebase for future reference.

Kamala completed their Master of Science degree in Engineering Sciences (Robotics) from the University at Buffalo, studying from 2022 to 2024. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University, where they attended from 2015 to 2019. Before their undergraduate studies, Kamala completed their high school education with a focus on Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Computer Science at Chinmaya Vidyalaya from 2001 to 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Kamala has also obtained various certifications. These include completing courses such as "ROS2 Robotics Developer Course - Using ROS2 In Python" from Udemy in January 2023, "Complete Python Bootcamp" from Udemy in July 2022, "Computer Vision: Face Recognition in Python" from Udemy in July 2022, "Data Structures and Algorithms: In-Depth using Python" from Udemy in July 2022, and "Intro to Machine Learning" from Kaggle in July 2022.
