Braden Anderson

Braden Anderson has extensive work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Starting from their early career, they served as an Application Administrator at Northwest Nazarene University from 1998 to 2003. Braden then joined the US Army, where they held the position of Captain, Signal Corps, and served as an Executive Officer and Signal officer, providing digital communication services and enabling command and control for over 1,000 Soldiers until 2009.

Following their military service, Anderson worked at Lockheed Martin as an Information Assurance Engineer, Staff, where they were responsible for security architecture, requirements decomposition, and the deployment of perimeter security stack.

In 2015, Anderson joined Leidos as the Cyber Maturity Consulting Services Branch Manager, leading the team in rebranding the cyber maturity assessment service and providing strategic recommendations to clients on policy enhancements, security operations, and cyber threat intelligence integration.

Braden then worked at KPMG US as a Manager, Cyber Defense, where they built target operating models for security operations at financial services clients and managed overall project delivery.

From 2018 to 2020, Anderson served as the Deputy Chief Information Security Officer at Purdue University, overseeing multiple teams and implementing a proactive cybersecurity posture through the integration of cyber threat intelligence.

At Accenture, Anderson held the position of Cybersecurity Senior Manager, where they led the development of SOC transformation services and managed the operational performance of Managed Security Services Providers (MSSPs).

In 2022, they joined Outrider as the Head of Information Security, where they formalized the information security program and implemented effective security operations, aligning security initiatives with client and compliance requirements.

Currently, Braden Anderson is the Senior Director of Security at Radicle Health, where they hold a leadership role in overseeing security operations.

Braden Anderson holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Purdue University. The specific duration of their studies at Purdue University is not provided. Before pursuing their MBA, Braden completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from Northwest Nazarene University. Unfortunately, the start and end years for both their bachelor's and master's degrees are unknown.

In addition to their formal education, Braden has acquired several certifications throughout their career. In 2001, they obtained the A+ certification from CompTIA. Then in February 2011, they earned the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)². Braden continued to expand their expertise, obtaining the Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) certification from (ISC)² in May 2018. Most recently, in November 2021, they obtained the Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO) certification from the EC-Council. Additionally, Braden holds two certifications from LinkedIn: "20 Habits of Executive Leadership" obtained in February 2023, and "Leading with Intelligent Disobedience" also obtained in February 2023.
