Karen Desalvo

Karen DeSalvo, CFMP has extensive experience in the financial industry, specifically within credit unions and banking organizations. Their most recent role was as the Chief Experience Officer at RadiFi Credit Union. Prior to this, they held the same position at ValleyStar Credit Union, where they were responsible for driving a consistent member experience and enhancing relationships.

Before joining ValleyStar, DeSalvo served as the Senior Vice President of Digital & Retail Banking at Allegacy Federal Credit Union. Karen also held the position of Chief Marketing Officer at Truliant Federal Credit Union and was the SVP / Senior Vice President, Director of Marketing at 7 17 Credit Union.

DeSalvo has also worked in the banking sector, holding the role of VP / Vice President of Marketing at F.N.B. Corporation and Mahoning National Bank. In addition, they have experience as the Marketing Director at Warren Fabricating & Machining Corporation and Ohio Steel Sheet & Plate. Throughout their career, DeSalvo has demonstrated their expertise in developing and implementing strategic growth plans, enhancing member and customer relationships, and leading marketing and branding initiatives.

Karen DeSalvo, CFMP completed the Digital Marketing Strategies for the Digital Economy program at The Wharton School in 2017. Prior to that, they received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on Advertising and Public Relations from Youngstown State University.
