Mark McDuffie has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Mark is currently serving as the Director of Compliance, Fraud & Risk Management at RadiFi Credit Union (formerly known as Jax Federal Credit Union). Prior to this role, they were the Compliance & Risk Management Director at Coastline Federal Credit Union.
Before joining credit unions, Mark worked at CUNA Mutual Group as a Risk Management Consultant. In this role, they provided comprehensive risk management services, including assessing credit union operations, writing reports and recommendations, collaborating with account teams, conducting training, and serving on the senior advisory council.
Mark also has experience as the President/CEO of Sherwood Medical Employees Credit Union and as an Assistant Internal Auditor at FAIRWINDS Credit Union. Mark started their career as a Senior Staff Accountant at First Family Bank and worked as an Account Executive in Investments at Dean Witter Reynolds Inc.
Throughout their career, Mark has gained expertise in compliance, fraud, risk management, audits, and financial operations. Their work experience showcases their ability to work independently, provide strategic solutions, and effectively communicate with senior management and boards of directors.
Mark McDuffie, NCCO, CRM, CFE attended the UCF College of Business from 1988 to 1992, where they obtained a BSBA degree in Finance. Mark also holds additional certifications, including the NAFCU Certified Compliance Officer (NCCO) from the National Association of Federally-Insured Credit Unions, obtained in 2018, the Certified Risk Manager (CRM) from The National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research, obtained in 2009, and the Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, obtained in 2007.
