Jessica Kavanagh, CPA, has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Jessica began their career in 2016 as a Database Management Intern at EnSafe, where they gained valuable experience in data management. In 2017, they joined the University of Tennessee, Knoxville as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, where they honed their teaching and leadership skills. That same year, they also started working as an Auditor at Unum, where they developed expertise in auditing processes. In 2019, Jessica joined Knoxville Utilities Board as a Financial Systems Analyst II, leveraging their financial and analytical skills. Most recently, in 2020, they transitioned into a Software Engineer role at Radio Systems Corporation, expanding their technical skill set. Jessica's work experience showcases their versatility and strong dedication to professional growth in various domains.

Jessica Kavanagh, CPA, holds a Master of Accountancy degree in Accounting and Information Management from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Jessica completed this program from 2017 to 2018. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting/Information Management from the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, which they pursued from 2012 to 2016. In 2011, Jessica also studied American History (United States) at William & Mary, specifically focusing on the period from the Founding of Jamestown through the American Revolution. In addition to their academic achievements, Jessica obtained their Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the Tennessee State Board of Accountancy in September 2019.
