Jocelyn Wright Powell

Jocelyn Wright Powell has a strong background in UX/UI design and has held various roles throughout their career. Jocelyn started their career as a Student Digital Media Designer at Pensacola Christian College in 2017 before moving on to become a Digital Media UI/UX Designer. In this role, they managed client relationships, developed websites, designed social media campaigns, and supervised student designers.

In 2016, Jocelyn worked as an OMSI Intern at the Office of Inspector General, Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System & CFPB. Here, they collaborated with investigators, legal teams, and senior leadership to create and publish a magazine aimed at providing insight into the Investigations department.

Jocelyn then joined Cadre5 as a User Experience Designer in 2019. In this role, they led the design of geospatial projects, worked closely with product owners and developers for application redesigns, and created design systems to improve consistency.

Jocelyn also worked as a Freelance Designer at Wright Experience Design in 2017, where they took on various design projects.

Currently, they are employed at Radio Systems Corporation as a UX/UI Designer III. Jocelyn has demonstrated leadership skills in this role by advocating for UX goals and objectives, shaping product direction through strategy discussions, and providing valuable insights based on their expertise. Jocelyn is also responsible for leading app design system development and ensuring a user-centric approach throughout the product design process.

Jocelyn Wright Powell completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Advertising/Public Relations with a minor in Graphic Design & Marketing from Pensacola Christian College. Jocelyn attended the college from 2013 to 2017. Additionally, Jocelyn obtained several certifications related to customer experience, UX design, and research from LinkedIn, with the most recent certifications obtained in 2020.
