Tim Weghorst

Tim Weghorst has a diverse work experience in various engineering and technician roles.

Tim began their career at Halliburton in 1997 as a Senior Engineering Technician, where they conducted component level troubleshooting and designed test fixtures. Tim then worked as an Attractions Host at Walt Disney World from 2004 to 2005.

In 2005, Tim joined Invivo Corporation as a Senior Electrical Engineering Technician, overseeing the daily activities of the electrical engineering lab and performing hands-on design and construction. Tim also worked at Philips Medical Systems as a Project Development Program Manager, managing development projects with budgets of over $2.5M and leading a team of 15 staff members.

From 2013 to 2015, Tim worked at L-3 Communications as a Test Technician, troubleshooting and repairing aviation equipment. Tim then joined Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium in 2016 as a Marine Engineering Technician, responsible for maintaining oceanographic instruments and assisting with vehicle deployment.
