Eric Laing

Senior Director, IT Regional Services at Radiology Partners

Eric Laing has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Eric began their career at Idaho National Laboratory in 2000 as a Principal Systems Administrator. In 2006, Laing joined Teton Radiology as an Operations Manager, where they worked until December 2013. Eric then moved on to Medical Imaging Associates of Idaho Falls in the same year, assuming the role of Chief Information Officer. In this position, they designed and implemented software, hardware, and networks to establish a multi-state regional radiology and teleradiology practice. Laing demonstrated a keen focus on compliance with legal security requirements for all systems during their tenure. In 2021, they transitioned to Radiology Partners as Director of IT Regional Services. Eric'sresponsibilities included overseeing all IT Service Management disciplines and practices across a customer base and ensuring efficient operation, monitoring, and improvement of service management practices. Laing excelled in providing outstanding client service and contributing to the organization's mission of utilizing information technology to improve patient care. In 2022, they were promoted to Senior Director, retaining their previous responsibilities while providing leadership according to Radiology Partners' business objectives.

Eric Laing completed their education with a Master's degree in IT Management from Western Governors University, which they pursued from 2022 to 2023. Prior to that, they attended Idaho State University from 1989 to 1994, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Biology, Computer Science, and English. Eric'seducational journey began at Highland Senior High School, where they obtained their High School Diploma from 1981 to 1984. During their time at Highland Senior High School, Eric pursued studies in General Studies, Electronics, and Computer Science.
