Krishna Nallamshetty, MD, FACR has an extensive work experience in the field of radiology. Krishna currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer at Radiology Partners, the largest radiology practice in the United States. In this role, Dr. Nallamshetty oversees the operational performance of the practice.

Additionally, they are the Professor and Chair of Radiology at the University of South Florida. As Chair, Dr. Nallamshetty leads the department to achieve national prominence through research, education, and clinical care. Krishna is also responsible for recruitment, finance management, and strategic goal development.

Prior to their current roles, Dr. Nallamshetty served as a board member and Chief of Staff at Tampa General Hospital, where they directed the strategic planning of the hospital's imaging enterprise. Krishna played a key role in the hospital being ranked as the top hospital in Tampa Bay and nationally in six specialties.

Before joining Tampa General Hospital, Dr. Nallamshetty held the position of President at Radiology Associates of Florida (RAF). In this role, they managed the operations, quality, and strategic growth of the practice, which provides radiology services to eight health systems in Florida and serves as the primary teaching faculty for the University of South Florida.

Dr. Krishna Nallamshetty has a diverse education history. In 2007-2008, they attended Harvard Medical School for Cardiovascular Imaging. Krishna then pursued a Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program from 2005 to 2007 at Tufts University School of Medicine. Prior to that, Dr. Nallamshetty received their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Thomas Jefferson University in 2002 and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from Penn State University in 2000.

In terms of additional certifications, Dr. Nallamshetty is a Diplomate of the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology from the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, obtained in 2017. Krishna is also a Diplomate of the Certification Board of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography from the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography, obtained in 2010. Furthermore, they hold the American Board of Radiology certification.

In 2018-2019, Dr. Nallamshetty participated in the Physician Executive Leadership Program at the University of South Florida Muma College of Business. Additionally, they will be obtaining a certification in the Program for Chairs of Clinical Services from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in February 2023.
