Tuba A Kamal has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Tuba A began their career as a Receptionist at Images Beauty Salon in 2013 and later worked as a Tutor at Duc Dinh Learning Center in 2015. In 2016, Tuba joined the University of Houston as a Student Worker. The following year, they worked as an Executive Assistant at AmeriTex International Inc, where they assisted customers with health insurance enrollment and payments. Tuba then transitioned to the healthcare industry, working as a Quality Assurance Assistant at Altus Hospital - Houston & Baytown in 2018, where they monitored facility operations and collected data for peer review. Tuba A also served as a Credentialing Specialist, collecting and maintaining credentialing information for medical staff. Tuba's healthcare career continued at Radiology Partners, where they held multiple roles from 2019 onwards. These included Project Coordinator, Lead Credentialing Data Integrity Specialist, and Hospital Credentialing Specialist. In these roles, Tuba completed credentialing applications, compiled provider data, and coordinated with hospitals and radiologists to ensure the credentialing process was completed accurately and efficiently. Throughout their career, Tuba demonstrated strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues.

Tuba A Kamal holds a Master's degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management, which was obtained from the University of Houston-Clear Lake from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, Tuba earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology, General from the University of Houston between 2014 and 2017. Tuba's education journey started with an Associate of Science (AS) in Engineering from Houston Community College from 2012 to 2014. Tuba also holds a High School Diploma from Stephen F Austin High School, which was obtained in 2012. In addition, Tuba spent a majority of their high school education at the American International School of Jeddah from 2007 to 2011. Before that, Tuba attended Pakistan International School Jeddah - Rehab for middle school from 2004 to 2007, and completed their elementary education at Al Hejaz International School from 1999 to 2004.

Tuba has also obtained several certifications. Tuba A completed the SheCodes Basics course from SheCodes in December 2022. In October 2020, Tuba became Scrum Master Certified (SMC) from VMEdu Inc. Furthermore, Tuba holds a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt (ICYB) certification, acquired from the University of Houston-Clear Lake in March 2019.
