Tim Carlin

Tim Carlin’s technological creativity and entrepreneurship has led him to co-found several successful businesses. As the CEO of Boulder Automation, LLC, he leads in the conceptualization and development of IoT home automation products for the insurance industry that will save home insurance companies and consumers millions per year in unnecessary damage and claims. Earlier, Tim co-founded Amplitude Software, a resource scheduling firm that sold for over $200M. It was one of the first companies to commercialize web-based applications at the start of web revolution. His prior work included strategic marketing at Apple in Cupertino and leading the team that delivered the original Cube at NeXT Computer. Tim holds a degree in Information Systems and Mathematics from Carnegie Mellon University.
