Matthias de Lange

Matthias De Lange, Ph.D., is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Radix, a position held since April 2023. Prior to this role, Matthias worked as a Machine Learning Engineer and completed a Ph.D. at KU Leuven from October 2018 to March 2023, focusing on incremental and adaptive machine learning in computer vision. As a Research Scientist Intern at Meta from June to October 2022, Matthias researched adaptive machine learning for Augmented Reality. Earlier experience includes a Software Engineer Intern role at Xplore Group in August 2017, where Matthias contributed to full-stack development of a web application. Matthias holds a Master's degree in Technical Engineering Electronics/ICT with a specialization in ICT and Software and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from KU Leuven, as well as a Middelbaar diploma in Wetenschappen Wiskunde from Don Boscocollege Zwijnaarde.
