Andy McDermott

Andy McDermott has a diverse work experience spanning multiple organizations. Andy started their career as a Detective Sergeant at the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department in February 2001 and continued in that role until January 2016. Afterward, they joined the Aurora Police Department as a Detective in February 2016 and worked there until August 2021. In August 2018, they also took on the role of Task Force Officer at ATF, which they held until August 2021. Most recently, since November 2019, they have been serving as the Mission Solutions SME at Radix Metasystems, Inc., and in August 2021, they were promoted to the position of Chief, Nighthawk Ascend within the same company.

Andy McDermott obtained a Master's degree in Public Safety Leadership from Capella University between 2008 and 2010. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Sociology/Criminal Justice from the University of Northern Colorado from 1993 to 1996.
