Shotaro Makisumi

Shotaro Makisumi is a quantitative researcher at Radix Trading LLC since August 2021. Prior to this role, Shotaro served as a member of the School of Mathematics at the Institute for Advanced Study from September 2020 to July 2021 and was a Ritt Assistant Professor at Columbia University in the City of New York between August 2017 and June 2021. Furthermore, Shotaro held the position of Strauch Fellow at the Mathematical Sciences Research Institute in early 2018. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Mathematics from Stanford University (2012 - 2017) and a BA in Mathematics from Princeton University (2008 - 2012).
