Charlie Shaw

Charlie Shaw is the Senior Vice President of HealthCare Network Strategy & Business Development at RadNet. Prior to joining RadNet, Charlie served as the Military Health System (MHS)/Tricare Management Activity (TMA) Account Manager at Northrop Grumman Healthcare and as the MHS/TMA/Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Account Manager at Lockheed Martin Healthcare.

Charlie has played a key role in developing the vision and strategic direction for market entries within the VHA and Military Health Care System. Charlie is responsible for key relationships, new ventures, partnerships, alliances and recommends merger and acquisition opportunities. Charlie also coordinates and develops HIT opportunities focusing on information technology to improve healthcare quality, service delivery, patient safety and privacy protection.

Under Charlie’s leadership, the Tricare Regional Support Contract was successfully executed providing coverage to 9M beneficiaries throughout the US. Charlie also led the charge in creating a telehealth strategy to capture major opportunities for an intelligent, situational awareness real time sensor solution. Their activities and recommendations supported a nationwide approach to developing digital and interoperable health IT systems that leverages telemedicine to redefine delivery models for implementing remote monitoring care programs.

Charlie’s experience and success in the healthcare industry makes him a valuable asset to RadNet and they will continue to be a leader in developing innovative solutions to improve healthcare delivery.

Charlie Shaw started their educational career by completing a BS in Health Services Management from University of Maryland Global Campus. Charlie then went on to complete an MBA in Finance from Loyola University Maryland. After working in the field for a few years, they decided to further their education by completing a Command and Staff Diploma from U.S. Naval War College. Charlie Shaw is currently working as a Strategic Marketing Executive and is completing a program at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Their manager is Howard G. Berger, President & CEO. They are on a team with Terri Herrick - Senior Vice President of Contracting and Network Strategy, Stephen M. Forthuber - President & COO Eastern Operations, and Norman R. Hames - President & COO Western Operations.
