Rohit Rao M.D.

Rohit Rao MD MBA currently serves as Doctor On Board for Lufthansa and as a Board Member for Ronald McDonald House Charities since December 2024. Additionally, Rohit is a member of the Board of Advisors for ICATT - International Critical Care Air Transfer Team and holds multiple medical director positions at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego, overseeing the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit, Pulmonary Hypertension Program, and Project ADAM. Rohit has served as a Clinical Professor at UC San Diego Health since February 2021 and was previously a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of California San Diego. Rohit's extensive experience in pediatric cardiology includes positions at Phoenix Children's Hospital, The University of Arizona, Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, and the Medical College of Wisconsin. Educational qualifications include a Fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology and Pediatric Critical Care as well as an MBA from the University of Arizona, with additional training in management and leadership at MIT.
