Umair Hoodbhoy

Umair Hoodbhoy has a diverse range of work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Umair currently works as the Director of Education Initiatives at Rafay since 2022. Prior to this, Umair was the Principal Solutions Architect Lead at Aviatrix from 2020 to 2022. Umair also held the position of Google Cloud Platform Practice Lead at Softchoice from 2019 to 2020.

In earlier roles, Umair served as a Product Line Manager at Juniper Networks from 2014 to 2017, where they managed the Enterprise Access Campus and Branch switch portfolio. Before that, they worked as the Global Product Line Manager at Hewlett-Packard from 2013 to 2014, where they were responsible for the fixed port Layer 3 Enterprise Campus switches.

Umair's experience also includes working as a Product Manager at Infineta Systems from 2010 to 2012, where they were involved in product requirements documentation and established alliances with other vendors. Umair started their career at Cisco Systems Inc in 2000, working as a Customer Support Engineer and later as a Manufacturing Test Development Engineer.

Umair has demonstrated strong leadership and technical skills throughout their career, as well as a focus on training, mentorship, and product management.

Umair Hoodbhoy has a strong educational background in both business administration and computer engineering. Umair obtained their MBA degree in Business Administration and Management, General from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer and Systems Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute between 1995 and 1999.
