Tynka Victoria Otwoma has a strong background in banking and financial services. Tynka Victoria started their career at Sidian Bank Limited in 2004 as a Bank Clerk, and later worked as an Officer in Alternative Delivery Channels. Tynka Victoria then progressed to the role of Assistant Manager in the same department. In 2010, they transitioned to the role of Operations Manager in Alternative Delivery Channels at Sidian Bank Limited (KREP Bank Limited). Tynka continued to advance their career within Sidian Bank, taking on the role of Project Manager for Channels and later as Head of Channels and Digital Banking. In 2018, they joined Sidian Bank as a Senior Manager in Digital & Agency Banking. Most recently, Tynka has been working at Rafiki Microfinance Bank, first as Head of Transactional Banking and currently as Head of Service Delivery & Transactional Banking.
Tynka Victoria Otwoma has a diverse education history. In 2018, they obtained a certification in Strategic Management and Leadership from the Kenya Institute of Management. The following year, in 2017, Tynka attended the Kenya Institute of Social Work, where they received a Certificate of Attendance in Project Management.
Prior to these certifications, Tynka engaged in private study, earning a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) degree in Accounting in an unspecified year. Their passion for numbers and analysis also led their to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Mathematics at the University of Nai, graduating in 2004.
Before their university education, Tynka attended Strathmore University College in 1999 and earned a Certificate in Public Accounts, specializing in Accounting. It is worth noting that Tynka's education journey is still ongoing, as they plan to pursue a Certification in Monitoring and Evaluation from the Kenya Institute of Management in 2022.
