Hitesh Sharma

Hitesh Sharma has a diverse work experience in the technology sector. Hitesh currently holds the position of Sr. Lead Platform Engineer at raft, where they began working in September 2021. Prior to this, Hitesh served as the TCODE Platform Lead at US Transportation Command, starting in September 2022.

Hitesh also worked at Space CAMP as the Gravity Platform Tech Lead from September 2021 to December 2022.

Before their current roles, Hitesh gained valuable experience at Booz Allen Hamilton, where they held multiple positions starting in 2017. As an Associate/Lead Technologist, Hitesh contributed to various projects such as designing monitoring and alerting systems using AWS Cloud Watch and DataDog, deploying Kubernetes Container as a Service (CaaS) platforms with AWS Elastic Kubernetes Services (EKS), and hardening node images with tools like Ansible, Packer, and Terraform.

During their time at Booz Allen Hamilton, Hitesh also served as a Senior Consultant/Staff Technologist, where they led the development and deployment of a custom Python application for managing AWS IAM across multiple accounts. Hitesh played a key role in automating manual operations, streamlining AWS IAM permissions, redesigning Jenkins Pipelines, and developing various scripts and playbooks to enhance efficiency and scalability.

Hitesh began their career at Accenture Federal Services as part of the Technical Operations team, where they worked from February 2014 to September 2017.

Hitesh Sharma obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems from Northern Illinois University. In addition, Hitesh Sharma has achieved certifications such as the CKA: Certified Kubernetes Administrator from The Linux Foundation in July 2021 and the Red Hat Certified System Administrator (Linux 7) from Red Hat in August 2017.
