Sam Sams

Sam Sams has a diverse work experience in talent acquisition and management roles. Currently, Sam is the Senior Director of Talent Acquisition at Raft since October 2022. Prior to that, Sam worked as the Director of Talent Acquisition at PVM, Inc. from April 2022 to October 2022. Sam also worked as the Director of Talent Acquisition at VillageMD from November 2021 to April 2022.

Previously, Sam held leadership positions in talent operations and recruitment marketing at Aveshka, Inc. from March 2018 to November 2021 and at Accenture Federal Services from December 2016 to March 2018. Sam successfully led teams and implemented strategies to improve recruitment processes and increase hiring.

Sam also has experience in managing talent acquisition operations at BAE Systems, where they served as Talent Acquisition Operations Manager from April 2016 to December 2016 and as Global TA Operations Manager from August 2010 to April 2016. Before that, Sam worked as a Recruiting Manager and Recruiter at Accenture, BAE Systems, CACI, and Lucas Group from October 2005 to August 2010.

Sam's career began in the United States Marine Corps, where they served as a Sergeant/Mortarman from July 2001 to August 2005.

Sam Sams has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Security Management from American Military University. They have also completed several certificate programs at Cornell University, including Social Media in HR: From Policy to Practice, Human Resources Management, and Data Science with SQL and Tableau. In addition, Sam has obtained a Master's Degree in Master of Project Management from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University.
