Stephen Phillips is a roboticist and applied scientist currently working at RAI Institute since May 2023. Previously, Stephen served as a visiting assistant professor at Swarthmore College from August 2021 to May 2023, where responsibilities included teaching courses, mentoring students in research projects, and overseeing summer internships. Stephen's experience includes a perception research internship at Waymo, a software engineering internship at Google, and various roles in academic research, including work at the UCLA Vision Lab. Stephen holds a Ph.D. in Computer and Information Sciences from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from UCLA.
