David Heitzinger

David Heitzinger is a seasoned professional in the banking and technology sectors, currently serving as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Information Officer at Raiffeisen Bank Kosova since March 2024. Prior to this role, David held various positions at Raiffeisen Bank International AG from February 2005 to March 2024, including Head of Agile Engineering Support, Solution Architect, Head of Application Development, and Senior Software Architect. Earlier career experiences include serving as Technical Project Lead at FJA from July 2000 to January 2005 and as a Scientific Researcher at ACV from July 1999 to June 2000. David obtained a Ph.D. in Natural Sciences and a Diplom-Ingenieur in Geodesy from Technische Universität Wien, completing studies between 1989 and 1999.
