Barbara Knöbl

Barbara Knöbl has worked at two companies in a specific chronological order. From 2016 to the present, they have worked at Raiffeisen Informatik, where they have held various roles including Function Lead Security Enforcement, Security Officer, IT-Auditor, and Risikomanager. Prior to that, from February 2013 to March 2016, they worked as a Universitäts-Projektassistent at Technische Universität Graz.

Barbara Knöbl completed their education at several institutions. Barbara began their academic journey at the University of Vienna from 2004 to 2012, where they obtained a degree equivalent to a Master of Science (MS) in Physics. Following this, they pursued further studies at FH Campus Wien | University of Applied Sciences from 2012 to 2014 and earned a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Risk Management & Corporate Security.

In addition to their formal education, Barbara Knöbl also obtained several certifications. In 2017, they achieved the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management (2011) from AXELOS Global Best Practice. Barbara further enhanced their professional skills by obtaining the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management (ITIL 4) in 2019 from the same institution. Barbara Knöbl also holds the COBIT 5 Foundation Certificate, which they obtained from ISACA in November 2019. Barbara pursued further certifications in information security management, including being certified as an ISMS-Manager/in & -Auditor/in according to ISO 27001 by TÜV AUSTRIA CERT GMBH in November 2018. Additionally, they are certified as a Qualitätsauditor/in TÜV™ by the same institution, obtained in May 2019. Most recently, in March 2020, Barbara Knöbl obtained the Open FAIR™ Foundation certification from The Open Group.
