Werner Leuthard

Werner Leuthard has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Werner currently serves as a Member of the Board of Directors at responsAbility Investments AG and Valyo AG. In the past, they held various leadership roles at Raiffeisen Switzerland, including Head of Trading and Head Trading & Sales. Werner also worked as the CEO of Finorafa SA. Earlier in their career, they held positions at Credit Suisse and Credit Suisse First Boston, where they were responsible for global trading and precious metals liquidity management. Werner began their career as a Lehrling at Fritz Kopp AG.

Werner Leuthard's education history includes several degrees and certificates in various fields. In 2002 to 2004, they pursued their Executive Master of Corporate Finance at the HSLU (Hochschule Luzern - Wirtschaft) - IFZ (Institut für Finanzdienstleistung Zug). From 2011 to 2013, they completed their Executive MBA (EMBA) in General Management & Leadership at HSLU (Hochschule Luzern) - Wirtschaft. In 2017, Werner earned a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Financial Regulation from Universität von Bern und Genf. Lastly, from 2021 to 2022, they attended the University of Rochester - William E. Simon Graduate School of Business Administration (CH) & Universität Bern, where they obtained a Certified Board Member degree in Certificate of Advanced Studies in General Management.
