John Chilman

John Chilman's work experience includes serving as the Chief Executive of Railpen since 2019. John is also a Governor and Trustee at the Pensions Policy Institute (PPI) and the Chair of the PLSA Policy Board at the Pensions and Lifetime Savings Association since 2021. Prior to that, they worked as an Independent Trustee at Nestlé starting in 2016 and as the Group Head of Pensions at National Grid from 2017 to 2019. John Chilman also held the role of Chairman at the Railway Pension Trustee Company Limited from 2007 to 2019, where they oversaw the Railways Pension Scheme.
