Rebekah Leslie-Hurd

Rebekah Leslie-Hurd has a diverse work experience spanning various positions and companies. Rebekah is currently the Head of Software at Rain, starting in April 2023. Before that, from December 2020 to March 2023, they worked as the Director of Compiler Software Engineering at Cerebras Systems. Prior to that, they held the role of Managing Principal Engineer at Groq from December 2018 to November 2020 and was also a Software Engineer at Groq from September 2017 to November 2018. Rebekah worked as a Research Scientist at Intel Corporation from July 2011 to September 2017. Rebekah began their professional career as a PhD Student at Portland State University from September 2003 to May 2011. Additionally, they had internship experiences at Galois, Inc. in 2007 and Intel in 2006, where they worked on high-assurance software development techniques and formalized separation properties of an operating system interface, respectively.

Rebekah Leslie-Hurd received their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Oklahoma in 2003. Rebekah then pursued their educational journey and earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Portland State University between 2003 and 2011.
