Mylon Patton is a political science and economics graduate from the University of Chicago, where Mylon also minored in human rights. Mylon serves as Co-Chair of the Student Advisory Board at The University of Chicago Institute of Politics, leading initiatives and programming to foster community among students. Additionally, Mylon is a member of the Bridging the Divide cohort, engaging with diverse leaders to promote meaningful change. In a civic role, Mylon is a Working Group Appointee for the City of Chicago, contributing to policy recommendations for the police department. Mylon also co-hosts a monthly town hall for the Rainbow PUSH Coalition, focusing on youth perspectives on current events. Previous experience includes serving as Political Chair for the Organization of Black Students and interning in public policy. Mylon's professional journey reflects a commitment to community engagement and advocacy.
