Carolyn A. Scott

Neuropsychologist at Rainbow Rehabilitation Centers, Inc.

Dr. Scott provides neuropsychological and psychological services at Rainbow. Working with residential and outpatient clients, she conducts both brief and expanded neuropsychological evaluations as well as group and individual psychotherapy. Dr. Scott also provides consultation services on client and team matters. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Dr. Scott is involved in administrative and educational activities, including the coordination of a committee which examines ethical, clinical, and financial risks and promotes achievement of patient goals. She also oversees the direction of an on-going educational series for therapists throughout Rainbow. Dr. Scott earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Wayne State University. After she completed an APA-approved internship at the John D. Dingell VA Medical Center in Detroit, she then completed specialized postdoctoral training in Neuropsychology and Rehabilitation Psychology at the Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan. During this training, Dr. Scott worked with individuals, both inpatient and outpatient, who had experienced traumatic brain injuries, stroke, spinal cord injuries, and other neurological and orthopedic conditions.
