Girish Punjabi

Girish joined Raine in August 2017 as a Vice President in the Mumbai office. Prior to Raine, Girish spent over 10 years at UBS Investment Bank in Mumbai, where he advised a wide range of Indian companies on M&A, private placement and capital markets transactions. He is focused on the Telecom, Media and Consumer Internet sectors and in the past has worked on transactions for companies including Bharti Airtel, Bharti Infratel, Vodafone India, Videocon D2h and Flipkart. He began his career at PwC, working in the Transfer Pricing team in Mumbai.

Girish holds a Bachelor of Management Studies degree with a Finance specialisation from Mumbai University.
