Shawna Foster

Shawna Foster started organizing the anti-war movement in 2006. Since then she’s done direct action and communications work for many causes because the military is often the enforceable violent mechanism of many oppressions. Most recently, she’s led work for The Frontline, Election Defenders, and About Face: Veterans Against the War. As an ordained minister she believes in activism as a prophetic way to bring the world they dream about into existence.
