Sean McFetridge has extensive experience in sustainability and energy management. Sean started their career as a Business Energy Advisor at the BC Ministry of Environment, where they worked until 2014. Sean then moved on to become a Senior Sustainability Advisor at Green Tourism Canada, where they audited and provided coaching on sustainability practices. In 2014, Sean joined BC Hydro as a Business Energy Advisor. Sean later became an Energy Specialist (Contract) at The Home Depot Canada and National Energy Manager at Recipe Unlimited Corporation. Most recently, Sean co-founded RainStick, a company that offers a high-flow circular smart shower aimed at saving water and energy. Throughout their career, Sean has developed expertise in various areas, including change management, greenhouse gas management, energy conservation, and renewable energy systems.
Sean McFetridge completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Okanagan College in the years 2007 to 2011. Sean also pursued further education in the same degree program at The Berlin School of Economics and Law from 2009 to 2010. In addition to their academic achievements, Sean McFetridge holds several certifications including Certified Energy Manager (CEM) obtained from the Association of Energy Engineers in January 2017, Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) obtained from the Canadian West Coast Chapter PMI in December 2012, LEED Green Building Associate obtained from the Canada Green Building Council - CaGBC in March 2011, and Fundamentals of Lighting (FOL-09) obtained from the Illuminating Engineering Society in September 2010.
