Jolan Banckaert

Jolan Banckaert began their career in 2018 as a Chargé d'études at Traynard BTP. In this role, they worked onsite for two weeks and in the office for three weeks, reading plans and creating estimates. In 2019, they joined PwC France as an Auditeur junior. In 2021, they joined Raise Partner as a Business Analyst - Quant. In this role, they created prototypes and PoCs in Python, researched and developed solutions, and provided quantitative support on various financial issues. Jolan also conducted research to improve the FactorScan algorithm, which uses Machine Learning techniques to select relevant risk factors.

Jolan Banckaert obtained their Baccalauréat from Lycée Polyvalent Jean-François Millet in 2017 with a specialization in Mathématiques and a section européenne (Anglais) with a mention très bien. Jolan then attended Classe Préparatoire aux Grandes Ecoles Victor Grignard from 2015-2017, studying Maths Sup' / Maths Spé Option Sciences de l'Ingénieur. In 2017, they obtained a MOOC Gestion de Projet, attestation session 10, Parcours Classique from MOOC Gestion de Projet. In the same year, they also obtained a Brevet d’Aptitudes aux Fonctions d’Animateur formation Surveillant de Baignade from Ufcv. In 2019, they attended National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, studying Finance, général. In 2020-2021, Jolan Banckaert attended Aix-Marseille University and Ecole Centrale de Marseille, obtaining a Master 2 (M2) in Finance Quantitative et Actuariat (FQA) Double Cursus en Parallèle du Parcours à Centrale Marseille and a Master's Degree in Finance respectively. In 2021, they also obtained a TOEIC - Score: 985/990 from ETS.
