Nicholas Merowsky

Nicholas Merowsky is a Senior Software Engineer who has extensive experience in various roles. Nicholas started their career in 2011 as a Private Tutor, educating students on programming languages such as Perl, Java, and bioinformatic tools. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Genomics Research Center Intern at the University of Rochester Medical Center, where they tested and researched RNA sequencing alignment algorithms to optimize computational efficiency.

In 2015, Nicholas joined UMass Medical School as a Bioinformatician, specializing in integrated bioinformatics tools. Nicholas played a crucial role in the development and curation of the Dolphin bioinformatics pipeline and website.
