Chris Jensen has a diverse work experience, spanning various roles and industries. Chris has recently held the position of Head Of Engineering at Raisely since December 2021. Prior to that, they served as a Technical Lead at the same company from August 2021 to March 2022. Chris also worked as a Senior Developer at Raisely from January 2017 to August 2021.

In addition to their technical roles, Chris has been involved in climate change initiatives. Chris served as a Board Member at Climate Conversations, starting in August 2019. As a Co-Founder of the same organization, they contributed to the development of an engagement strategy using low-cost tech and integrated IT systems, achieving a 76% action rate.

Before their involvement in climate change initiatives, Chris worked as a Program Manager at Climate for Change, where they doubled targets for participant conversion and recruitment. Chris also piloted a flagship program that reached over 8,000 Australian citizens nationally and trained volunteer facilitators.

Prior to their climate-focused roles, Chris worked as a Product Development & Lead Trainer at WOW Kampung and as a Lecturer at LASALLE College of the Arts. Chris also founded their own creative agency, Kinetics Engagement LLP, and held a position as an Executive in Education & Partnerships at Environmental Challenge Organisation (Singapore).

Earlier in their career, Chris worked as a Director: Happiness (Theatre) at Skinned Knee Productions and as a Quality Assurance professional at C4 Communication Pty Ltd, where they managed quality on a national project for Australia's largest telecom.

Chris began their career as a New Media Developer at Educational Experience, where they honed their skills in the field. Throughout their work experience, Chris has demonstrated a combination of technical expertise, leadership, and a commitment to addressing climate change.

Chris Jensen has a diverse education history. Chris started their academic journey at the University of Newcastle from 1999 to 2005, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering with Honours. During this time, they also attended UNSW in 2003 and 2004, focusing on the same degree program.

In 2006, Chris shifted their focus and attended LASALLE College of the Arts, where they studied Acting. Chris completed their Bachelor's degree with First Class Honours in 2009.

Aside from their formal education, Chris has obtained several certifications. In 2015, they received a certification in Values Based Communications from Common Cause. In 2014, they achieved an edX Verified Certificate for The Science of Happiness from edX, as well as completed an Enhanced Facilitation Skills Workshop by Pivotal Learning. Chris also acquired a Wilderness First Aid certification from the International Wilderness Medicine Educators in 2014. In 2013, Chris obtained certifications in Apply First Aid, Perform CPR, and Provide Basic Emergency Life Support from the Australian Red Cross.
