Kathleen Rommel is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategic partnerships and program development within the non-profit sector. Currently serving as the Director of Strategic Partnerships at Raising The Village since October 2021, Kathleen focuses on alleviating ultra poverty in rural communities through comprehensive projects in healthcare, water & sanitation, agriculture & nutrition, education, and community development. Prior to this role, Kathleen was the VP of Strategy & Partnerships at Yamba Malawi, where responsibilities included developing interdepartmental strategies and creating a 3-year strategic plan. Kathleen's earlier experiences also include serving as the Development & Communications Coordinator at Civic Builders, where a communications and marketing platform was launched, and as a Fellow at Aguayuda, Inc., where grant proposals and publicity materials were crafted. Kathleen holds an M.A. in English from Wake Forest University and a B.A. in English and History from Georgetown University.
